Alamosa resident Richardson “Elwood” Leroy Dutton, 32, passed away at his home in Alamosa on May 24, 2016.

Richardson was born in Alamosa, Colorado the youngest son of Randy Burl and Ramona Wood Dutton on July 4, 1983.

He loved his three girls dearly and cherished every moment spent with them. Richardson also enjoyed the outdoors and especially spending time with his family camping. He had a distinct talent for cooking and made many meals for his family and friends. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan.

Richardson is survived by his daughters Romey Dutton and Freija Dutton of Alamosa, and Rylynn Dutton of New Mexico, his step-daughters Lena, Jazmin and Savannah; his mother Ramona Dutton of Alamosa; his grandmothers Virginia Mae Dutton of Hawley, TX and Lola Ford of Alamosa; his brothers and sisters: Randena (Gabe) Hicks of Castle Rock, CO, Robert (Sandy) Dutton of Alamosa, Ryan (Meghan) Dutton of Sandy, UT, Resa (Tadd) Ormond of Logan, UT and Ronna (Ed) Granillo of Alamosa; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Randy in January, 2016, his grandfathers Leonard Dutton and Dean Ford.

Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa. Interment of ashes will follow services at 1:00 p.m. in the Alamosa Cemetery.
