Condolence From: Donna Wehe
Condolence: Gerald leaves an empty place in our hearts and in this community. He loved to share his passion and knowledge and was one of the best instructors at Leading Edge, a class for entrepeneurs. He was a great friend and his contagious laugh will be sorely missed. Taken from us way too soon.

Condolence From: Ward Holmes
Condolence: Gerald was always there. He and I were active and presidents of the Colorado Broadcasters Association back in the late 90's. We stayed in touch and tried to help each other with questions and issues running radio stations. He was the kind of friend that while I would not call him for bail money...he would always make me feel that we had just talked yesterday. He really cared for the stations being the community. Gonna miss him. Way to soon.

Condolence: I am so sad to hear the news about Gerald. We were neighbors throughout childhood and rode the bus to school together all those years. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones. I didn't know him as a radio personality but I'm sure he was great! He was a wonderful guy and I know he will be missed greatly!

Condolence: Our hearts go out to you. There are no words that can express the loss of Gerald. He always had a smile and stopped to talk about his family. He was so proud of all of you. I met Gerald through Kiwanis and always enjoyed working with him on projects. He brought laughter and fun to everyone and everything he was involved in. He was also very professional as a broadcaster and was rewarded through his accomplishments. We will miss him!

Condolence From: Karl Keller
Condolence: I worked with Gerald at KSLV for 13 years. He taught me many lessons about business that I continue to rely on in my insurance agency today. I will always be grateful to Gerald for giving me my first career opportunity in advertising sales at KSLV. He was tough, but fair. Without his business and financial skills there would be no local radio in Monte Vista. Godspeed GV and thank you.
