Condolences

Condolence From: Kathy Park Woolbert
Condolence: Phil was a colleague of mine at Adams State. We were both adjunct professors teaching down in the trenches: English 101 and English 102. I always appreciated his advocacy work on behalf of adjunct faculty, and he will be missed.
We shared two other connections: we are both writers and we both love horses. Phil asked me a couple times to read and/or donate my equine-inspired artwork to raise awareness and funds for his horse rescue project. I am sure he will be greatly missed by his equine friends as well.
I'm so sorry for your family's loss, but I'm sure Phil will be watching out for us on the other side.

Condolence: My condolences to you all. It was a serendipitious moment when I met Phil last year. That first day I learned of his passion for horses, education, writing, human rights and his love and gratitude for his family and friends. He was an amazing and wonderful man and he will be missed here on earth, but the love he shared with us all will live on.

Condolence From: Kathleen Chavez
Condolence: Dear family and friends of Phil,

I want to offer my sincere condolence to all of you in this time of sadness. Phil and I became friends while working together at Adams. He was always a positive supportive friend and colleague. We also shared a love for horses. I thank him for recruiting me to be part of the horse rescue and encouraging me to get back to riding. I will miss his smile and sincere friendship.

My thoughts and prayers to all of you.

Kathleen
