Obituary for Brenda Alexine Garcia (Garcia)
Monte Vista resident, Brenda Garcia, Born on March 4th, 1966, went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2016 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Brenda was an avid Denver Broncos fan, she loved going to Bingo, watching TV, doing word puzzles, dancing, spending time with her family, and she loved to spoil her many nieces and nephews. Brenda was involved with Blue Peaks and attended Blue Peaks Day Services. Brenda was also involved with the Special Olympics. She was a woman of strong faith and prayed for everyone around her.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Roman A. Garcia. Her mother Leonila Brito Garcia, (brother) Eddie B. Garcia, (Sisters) Tammy Garcia and Juanita Garcia, Brenda is survived by four sisters; Maria A. Martinez ( Baldamar Martinez) center, CO, Tina J. Duran (Joe Duran) Rock Springs, WY, Mildred Joyce Garcia, Center, CO, Lee Ann Rose Garcia, Grand Junction, CO, and six brothers; Ted M. Garcia (Ernestina) of New Mexico, Leonard R. Garcia (Cheri) Center, CO, Ruben A. Garcia (Donna) Monte Vista, CO, Tony Garcia (Valerie) Center, CO, Gerald J. Garcia (Rachel) Center, CO, Kevin R. Garcia (Kathy) Center, CO, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents of The Gonzales House where Brenda resided for their care and kindness
A rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 25, 2016 and a Mass will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. both will be held at Saint Francis Jerome Catholic Church in Center, CO.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Roman A. Garcia. Her mother Leonila Brito Garcia, (brother) Eddie B.
