Obituary for Ryan Trent

Ryan  Trent
Ryan Wayne Trent died December 13, 2016, in Clear Creek County, Colorado. He was born in La Jara, Colorado, on April 3, 1977, to Thomas Patrick Trent and Sheryl Gay Sellers Trent, and was the 5th child and only son.

He grew up in Manassa, Colorado, and graduated from Centauri High School in 1995. While there he participated in football, cross-country, track, various clubs, and played the trumpet in the band. He attended Western State College for a time, then served a two year mission to Veracruz, Mexico, for the LDS Church, then he attended Adams State College to complete his college education. At Adams State he met Beth Ann Fisher, and they were married May 15, 1999, in Manassa, CO. They were sealed in the Albuquerque Temple a year later. To this union were born four daughters and a son, all of whom survive him.

Ryan worked for some time in hotel and apartment management, and later owned a carpet cleaning business. He was very much a family man, and his pleasure was spending time with them. He loved his family and his extended family.

Ryan is survived by his parents Jerome and Sheryl Anderson of Manassa, CO; by his wife Beth Trent of Gilcrest, CO; his daughters Serra Isabella Trent, Hero Anabelle Trent, Eden Elizabeth Trent, Haven Elanor Trent; and by his son Hugo Winchester Trent, all of Gilcrest, CO. He is also survived by his many siblings, his sisters Stephanie (Ed) Mondragon of Taylorsville, Utah; Melanie (James) Sowards of Manassa, CO; Tiffanie (Ryan) Mc Allister of Salmon, Idaho; and Cynthia (Jeramy) Mc Daniel of Manassa, CO; and by his brothers Gregg (Elisha) Anderson of Alamosa, CO; and Derek (Cami) Anderson of Chubbuck, Idaho. His step-sisters are Sabrina (Mike) Husmann of Alamosa, CO; Penny (Chris) Dennis of Littleton, CO; Christy Anderson of Lakewood, CO; and sister-in-law Stacey Anderson of Littleton, CO; and his step-brothers are Jared (Christine) Anderson, and Hoyt (Dyan) Anderson, both of Alamosa, CO. He is also survived by parents-in-law Don and Judy Fisher of Oklahoma, and by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Patrick Trent, his step-brother Brock Alden Anderson, and by all his grandparents: Everette “Buster” and Le Ora Trent, Don and Elsie Sellers, and Dr. Sidney and Mayonne Anderson.

Funeral services are at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Manassa, Colorado. Visitation is Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Manassa, and at the LDS Church from 10:00-10:45 a.m. on Thursday before the service. Cremation will follow services. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Gilcrest, Colorado.
