Obituary for Anthony Arlington

Longtime California resident Anthony A. “Tony” Arlington, 76, passed away peacefully February 15, 2017 at the San Luis Care Center in Alamosa, Colorado.

Tony was born in Oakland, California on March 20, 1940, the proud son of Anthony E. and Hazel Bucher Arlington. He married his wife of 57 years in Lake Tahoe on August 25, 1959. She preceded him in death in April, 2015.

Tony worked in construction as a Foreman for many years. He liked to tinker with cars and especially loved his truck. Tony collected musical records and had a collection that lasted from the 1950’s to now. He also had quite the collection of coins.

Tony is survived by his children Richard Serva of Angels Camp, CA and Joy (Bill) Clayton of Ft. Garland, CO; his grandchildren Misty McVarish of Fair Oaks, CA and Twilla Smith of Alamosa, CO; his great-granddaughter Bella Smith; his brother Ronald Serva of Mountain Ranch, CA and his sister Teri Palmer of Angels Camp, CA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son Michael Serva, and his brothers Jim and Dennis Serva.
