Obituary for Maria Pacheco
Monte Vista resident Maria Pacheco, 77, passed away on March 22, 2017. She was born on October 10, 1939 in Ejido Progreso-Cuauthemos-Chihuahua, Mexico to Praxedis Pena and Emilia Quintana Pena. Maria enjoyed gambling, fishing and above all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children Isidro (Martha) Estrada of Del Norte, Ricardo (Sylvia) Rivera of Mexico, Noehmy Estrada, Caludia Estrada, Cecilia Pacheco and Michael (Dawn) Pacheco all of Monte Vista as well as Jaime Pacheco of Fort Morgan, many grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her siblings, Jose (Socorro) Pena, Antonio Pena and Lorenza Pena as well as many extended family members.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ted D. Pacheco.
A Funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday March 25, 2017 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Monte Vista. A visitation with a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday March 24, 2017 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Monte Vista as well as a brief viewing at the church from 9:00 am to 9:45 am prior to the service. Interment will follow services in the Monte Vista Cemetery.
