Obituary for Shirley Maxine Dees
Valley resident Shirley Maxine Dees, 70, passed away on June 19, 2017. She was born on December 4, 1946 in Greeley, Colorado to Doyle and Ruth Jenkins. She graduated from Valley High School in Plattville. She married Dalton Dees on October 18, 1968.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dalton Dees of Del Norte, her children, Jimmie Edward Dees and Patrick Dale Dees, her step daughters, Danit Ferguson and Teresa Johnson, her grandchildren, Jamie Lee, Ashley Dawn, Alexandra Cari, Rhonda, Ron, Jacque, Tiffany, Jacob, Mitchell, Steven and Brittani, her great grandchildren, Danny, Ryder, Katara, Khloe, Jayna, Annora, Kaylee, Kypton, Thiago, Latrell, Lennon, Titus, Jaylee, Patrick, Jayden, Arianna, Elijah, Christopher and Dashawn, as well as other extended family.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Doyle and Ruth Jenkins.
Cremation was selected and a memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday July 1, 2017 at the Gateway Church in Del Norte.
