Obituary for Vivian K. Clark

Vivian K. Clark
Longtime Del Norte resident Vivian Kay Clark, 68, passed away on July 19, 2017. She was born on June 24, 1949 in Denver, Colorado to Alfred and Gertrude Clark. Vivian received a Christian education and graduated from Lutheran High School. She lived in Denver for many years before she and her mother moved to Del Norte. Vivian then lived the rest of her life at La Hacienda, Mountain View Manor(TriCounty), Casas De Rio Grande and finally at Evergreen Nursing Home. She enjoyed attending Emmanuel Chapel in South Fork. Vivian would always smile and laugh in her own unique way when Pastor Dave would say “well try to stay out of jail this week”. Her favorite hymn was “His Eye is on the Sparrow…and I know He watches me.” Luke 12:6-7 “…ye are of more value than many sparrows”. Vivian had a love for music, painting, latch hook, collecting stuffed animals and traveling with the senior groups, every chance she got. Vivian had a gentle spirit and was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her siblings, Jerry (Diane) Clark of Grand Junction, Colorado, Vera (Dennis) Thomas of La Verkin, Utah and Fran (Fred) Jones of Del Norte as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation was selected and a private family service will be held at a later time. Contributions are suggested to the Emmanuel Chapel to be used for Crossworld Missions. To express condolences, please visit www.rogersfunerals.com
