The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Deborah Hartmann can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

My growing up years with Deb and Mildred.

I remember the good times my little sis and I had with Deb growing up.  We would spend the night on a weekend, and Deb would fix our hair all fancy.  We thought we were two beauty queens going to church.  And feeding the chickens was about our favorite feat of the day.  We really loved being out at Mildred and Deb's, cause it was in the country.  Believe it or not, but I can even remember Deb and Caroll my older sister dressing me in baby clothes when I was little.  But I was a little thing, too.  Back then anyway.  But most of all, I am ever so thankful for Deb encouraging me to come to church when my oldest daughter was just a tiny baby.  Deb, with her insistent attitude, would call me every Saturday night, and ask me if I wanted to come to church with her Sunday.  I would say, " I guess?"  Then Deb would say, "I will pick you up bright and early, be ready!"  I will miss Deb very much, but our memories will always linger on....
