Obituary for Jill Dunn

Jill Dunn
Jill Ann Dunn, 64, died in her home on December 22, 2017 in Manassa, CO.

Jill was born on November 14, 1953 in Alamosa, CO to her parents Edgar and La Veryl Dunn.

After graduation from Centauri High School, she attended the University of Southern Colorado, in Pueblo, CO and obtained a nursing degree. She worked in various areas of nursing including hospitals and private duty in the Denver area and later was the administrator of the Monte Vista Estates care center for many years. Her caring personality also led her to become a Reiki Master and massage therapist.

As a child, Jill brought sunshine to her family’s life. She loved to ride horses, and care for animals. She delighted in the accomplishments of her six sons and loved to attend their basketball and football games and spent as much time as she could with her grandchildren. She was also a passionate and caring daughter to her mother during her ailing years.

Jill is survived by her sons, Shane, Ron, and Adam of Manassa, Anthony of Denver and Albert and his wife Alexa of Alamosa, her grandchildren, Layla, Jordan, Beau, Ja’Lieyah, Rivell and her brother, Jack and his wife Vicky of Fort Collins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and La Veryl Dunn, her sister Gay Gehring, and her son Boto Dunn.

A memorial will held on January 8, 2018 at 11:00 am in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Manassa. Interment will take place in the Manassa Cemetery.
