Condolence: Jesse was a fantastic friend and person. I remember being blown away that he didn't let a disability define or alter who he was. He had an amazing blend of intellect and humor. We never had a dull conversation. Jesse will forever be in my thoughts.

Condolence: Jesse and I were in many of the same creative writing classes at ASU about ten years ago. I remember we challenged each other in Aaron's class to write the truth that only we could know about. Coming from a family with more than its share of disabilities myself, I was always inspired by and grateful for Jesse's grit, humor, determination, and insistence at being treated as normal in this beautiful and flawed world. I will miss him and I'm so sorry for his family's loss.
