Leonard Lloyd Archuleta, 59, passed away on January 1, 2018. He was born on October 6, 1958 to Geronimo and Libby Archuleta in La Jara, Colorado. Leonard had many nicknames, “Flash”, “The Legend” and “Pampo”, just to name a few. He enjoyed hunting, singing, dancing, joking, camping, foosball, softball, pranking and fishing. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family and volunteering his time to help others.

He is survived by his wife, Carla Archuleta, his children, Lee Archuleta and Heather Traci (Dustin) Rodman, his grandchildren, Trey Archuleta, Bry Rodman, Deegan Rodman and Elle Rodman , his siblings, Jerry (Glenna) Archuleta, Bonnie (Anna) Archuleta, Leroy Archuleta, Brenda (Chris) Sandoval and Judy (Ken) Holm as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Larry Archuleta.

Cremation was selected and a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday January 13, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa. A Vigil Service with recitation of the Rosary will be held prior to the mass at 9:30 am on Saturday also at the church. Contributions are suggested to the Alamosa County Victims Advocates and may be made through the funeral home office.
