Monte Vista resident Roberto Delgado, Jr., 15, passed away on April 8, 2018. He was born on May 9, 2002 in Alamosa, Colorado to Roberto Delgado Alba and Claudia Estrada. He was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church and the church youth group, the Monte Vista High School Football team and the Civil Air Patrol. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, riding horses, and riding his motorcycle as well as spending time with his friends.

Roberto is survived by his parents, Claudia Estrada and Roberto Delgado Alba, Sr. as well as his siblings, Jaime Pacheco, Craig Crown, Sofia Delgado, Jose Angel Delgado, Nora Delgado, Daniel Delgado, Ivan Delgado and Edgar Delgado as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended loving family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Teodoro and Maria Pacheco as well as his paternal grandparents, Guadalupe and Sofia Delgado as well as his uncle, Teodoro Pacheco, Jr.

Cremation was selected and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday April 16, 2018 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Monte Vista. Contributions are suggested to the Calvary Baptist Church Youth Group and may be made in care of the funeral home office.
