Obituary for Dylan Michael Vittoria

Dylan Michael Vittoria
Mosca, Colorado resident and former Portland, Oregon resident, Dylan Michael Vittoria, 24, passed away in a car accident on April 18, 2018. Dylan was born February 9, 1994 in Alamosa to Michael and Patricia Vittoria. He is preceded in death by his father Michael W. Vittoria, Grandparents Jess and Sally Winfree and Anthony Vittoria. He leaves behind his mother Patricia Vittoria of Mosca; Sisters Chelsea (Ted) Ammerman and Valynn (Kevin) Vittoria of Mosca; Niece Brynlynn Ammerman of Mosca; Grandmother Helen Vittoria of Mosca; His love, Nicole Card of Portland, Oregon; Brothers of the heart Bubba Marquez and Dylan Lukondi of Alamosa and Jesse Slayton of Fairview Oregon; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Dylan loved to laugh and had a magical way of bringing happiness and laughter to all around him. He never did anything half way; he poured his heart and soul into every moment. His passion for life burned so bright and strong, it was contagious. The number of people Dylan inspired and touched throughout his life is countless. The only thing bigger than his smile and heart was his love for family and friends. Dylan’s interests were as varied and wild as his amazing imagination. Fishing was one of his greatest passions; he could never wait to hit the water. Whether it was from the shore of a lake, on his boat, on the ice, or brook fishing from any creek he could find. The only thing that could get him away from the water was hunting and his passion and dedication to running the family owned restaurant at the Great Sand Dunes Oasis. He had a great love for doing anything outdoors, from the top of Mount Blanca to the Oregon coast, disc golf, music, reading, gold panning, football, anything Sci-Fi, and of course the Green Bay Packers.

A memorial service and celebration of his wonderful life will be held at the Forbes Trinchera Ranch, 24492 Trinchera Ranch Road, Fort Garland CO. on Saturday April 28th at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Dylan Vittoria Memorial fund which will be distributed to varied fishing and outdoor programs. Donations can be sent to Alamosa State Bank. 2225 Main Street Alamosa, CO 81101.

Rogers Family Mortuary of Alamosa is in care of the arrangements. Dylan will be laid to rest with his father Mike in Portland Oregon.
