Condolences

Condolence From: Christine Hintz
Condolence: So sorry to hear of the passing of Judge Hays. I didn't know him personally, but rather through the court system. Judge Hays precided over hearings to which I was a special respondent. He was forced to make some difficult decisions over the last year and a half and clearly, did not take them lightly. His professional and caring demeanor was quite evident. He believed in protecting the lives of children, and for that, I will be eternally grateful. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Condolence: I really enjoyed working with Pat even though it was a short time. Pat was such a awesome guy! I remember him always coming into team briefing at the Lawton Police Department, carrying his gun belt, had his long sleeve shirt rolled up! Pat would put his duty rig on the table. The Captain, would tell Pat to get on. Sorry to hear of his passing!!!!!

Condolence: Kazie, I wanted to reach out to you to offer my sincere condolences for the passing of Patrick. I've known Pat since he first came to the SLV. Although I am from Salida, I had a lot of contact with Pat when he was a DDA. He and I would always share a common war story on a Jury Trial he prosecuted and I defended "back in the day". It was quite the trial and every time we saw each other we would laugh about it. Above all, Pat was a wonderful person who always had something funny to share. I will miss him.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers for the Hayes family. I first met Pat through his Dad at the auto parts store. Later when he became a police officer we had the opportunity to work together. Though his career was short with the department, I enjoyed working with him and knew that he was bound for higher goals.... I was truly shocked and sadden by his passing.
