Obituary for Claude Stephen Radford

Claude Stephen Radford
Alamosa, CO resident Claude S. Radford was called to the Lord on June 5, 2018. He was surrounded with the love of his entire family when he passed.

Claude was born in Pueblo, CO to Claude H. and Mae Radford. He attended Pueblo Catholic High School where he met his loving wife Patricia of 51 years. After high school he attended St. Michaels College and graduated from CSU Pueblo. He inspired young minds as a teacher for many years, then worked as a service manager and retired after a 30-year career in the perlite industry as a plant manager.

Claude will forever be remembered for his generosity, kind heart and sharp mind. He always had a great joke to tell, could discuss politics for hours or tell you everything there is to know about guns or small engines. He was a passionate firearms enthusiast and loved reading and learning. He taught his girls the value hard work and the importance of remaining steadfast in their beliefs.

Claude is survived by his wife Pat and daughters Shannon Radford of Pueblo, Robyn (Dustin) Walker, Crystal Radford and Amanda (Aron) Martin all of Alamosa. His sister Joan (Nick) DeSalvo of Penrose, sister-in-law Dianne Cantu of Alamosa, brother-in-law Clint Snider, sisters-in-law Shelly (Fred) Shisler and Christine Snider all of Pueblo. He was blessed with eight grandchildren Erin, Gunner, Josh, Kayla, Colton, Jace, Kade, Gianni and great grandson Ryder as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Cremation was selected, and a mass will be held on Monday, June 11th at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Alamosa. Interment will follow the mass at Alamosa Cemetery.
