Alamosa resident and former Albuquerque, New Mexico resident Helen Malloy Robinson, 89, passed away at The Bridge at Alamosa assisted living center on December 15, 2016. Helen was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to John F. Malloy and Mary L. Harbison on February 8, 1927. She moved to the Albuquerque, New Mexico in the early 1950’s and met her husband Edward Robinson while living there. They were united in marriage on September 1, 1951.

Helen loved travelling around the country with her husband Ed in their RV. In her later years, she enjoyed cooking and spent many hours reading.

Helen is survived by her children Michael (Michelle) Robinson of Jasper, Indiana, Thomas Robinson of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Kathleen (Ken) Sorensen of La Jara, Colorado; three grandchildren Kelsey, Jake and Max Sorensen; her siblings Rita Jackson of Arcadia, California and Donald Malloy of Pokomoke City, Maryland; her sisters-in-law Katie Malloy, Naomi Robinson and Coilla Robinson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her oldest daughter Joan and spouse David Milner; her daughter-in-law Dorinda Robinson; and nine siblings.

At her request cremation was chosen and private family services will be held at a later date.
