Gerald Dean  Langston
Lifelong Alamosa resident Gerald Dean Langston, 84, passed away on March 18, 2017. He was born on December 19, 1932 in Alamosa to Obe and Agnes Langston. Gerald married Theresa Ann Beiriger in March 24, 1958. She preceded him in death.

Gerald was a member of the Alamosa Elks Lodge and the Alamosa Veterans of Foreign War. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, was a huge Green Bay Packer Fan. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his three daughters; Gerri (David) Bowlin of Littleton, Sherrie (Gail Beaton) Langston of Denver and Karri (James Ruppert) Langston of Colton, California, his grandchildren Meredith (Zack) Beck, Morgan (Cale) Griffith, Kaitlin Ruppert, Adam Ruppert and Makenzie Ruppert as well as three great grand-daughters and a very large extended family.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his brother Nyle Langston.

Cremation was selected and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Alamosa Elks Lodge BPOE 1297. Interment of ashes will take place in the Alamosa Cemetery, prior to the memorial service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017.
