Condolence: To the DeGolyer Family: So sorry to hear about James. One of the great group of "cousins" we all grew up with. James was always so jolly and happy. Remember well his visits and he always loved talking to my dad, Howard, about the cattle and farm. Memories of James go way back. I can see him now ice skating on our old sloughs in our pasture. He was one heck of an ice skater. Remember him doing things that I always wished I could do. Best to all of you and sorry I could not attend the funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Please send a note if you have time. Blessing to all...from your cousin.. Wayne Shawcroft

Condolence: Jim DeGolyer was at the post office when I was a kid. I'd always look for him at the window. I loved his razzing and friendship. He was a dear friend to our family. His sister Dora Mae Catlin was my mother's best friend in our Oklahoma days. When I grew up I was shoeing his horses. I regret that I didn't get to say goodbye.... I loved this man.
