Rev. Lawrence “Larry” Alden Moore Sr., 73, of Alamosa, Co., went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2018.
Larry was born to the late Alfonso Sanni and Ethel Priscilla Moore on May 28, 1944 in Providence, Rhode Island.

He moved to Long Beach, Ca. when he was 23 years old and worked at an oil refinery. It was in June of 1967 that he met the love of his life, Joann Quintana. They met on the Pike and were married a month and a half later, on July 15, 1967.

Larry and Joann dedicated their lives to Jesus Christ in Sutter Creek, Ca. on July 23, 1972. Larry began serving full time in ministry in 1975 at Bethel Assembly of God in Stockton, Ca. and continued serving as an Ordained Minister in the Assemblies of God until 2000.

His love for horses, his family, and most of the Lord will be cherished memories for his family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joann Quintana Moore, his children, Lisa and Larry Jr. (Serena) and his precious grandchildren, T.C., Levi, Anthony, Leah, Chris and Sierra and 6 great grandchildren. His brother Dennis Moore of Chillicothe, Oh. and numerous nieces and nephews,

A Memorial Service in celebration of Pastor Larry’s life will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at 3PM at River of Life Assembly of God, 2602 Clark St., Alamosa, Co. 81101
