When I think of Marianne, I think of a Champion for the "Little Guy" -  whatever that means - because she was so generous in her heart to care for social justice for everyone, but ESPECIALLY those who didn't feel that they had a voice.  She became one of the best Alamosa County Commissioners of all time; because she genuinely cared and was at the table, advocating for change, and collaborating with agencies.  Her time on earth was too short; she was an inspiration to me and many others.  We will miss her generous heart.
